    MONROVIA–The Keynote Speaker on the 61st anniversary of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has urged journalists in Liberia to attempt for excellence of their reportorial duties.

    Madam Josephine Krumah=Resident Consultant of the Financial Neighborhood of West African States (ECOWAS) Fee in Liberia mentioned the media have to be goal and never subjective.

    “The media’s lack of objectivity in its reporting is hampering free speech,” Krumah mentioned. She added, “You create the platform for misinformation and disinformation.”

    Talking on the PUL’s 61st anniversary celebration, the ECOWAS Consultant to Liberia harassed the necessity for enchancment within the media. “The constructing doesn’t outline who you might be; begin now and rebuild the longer term with wonderful studies,” she famous.

    Giving the Anniversary message, PUL President Julius Kanubah challenged journalists to report ethically. Kanubah mentioned moral reporting is the bedrock of journalists noting that such is important for nation’s progress.

    The celebration introduced collectively Liberian Journalist from throughout the nation and key stakeholders from each the non-public and public sectors.

    Mr. Kanubah in her message, referred to as on all journalists within the nation to work collectively in guaranteeing that the union’s headquarters is constructed.

     He holds first  MA with honors in Worldwide  Relations and a  candidate for second grasp in Worldwide Peace research and Battle  Decision from the College of Liberia.
