Monrovia-November 8, 2025: The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has with instant impact placed on maintain the conduct of the approaching management elections within the Reporters Affiliation of Liberia (RAL), beforehand scheduled to happen on this Saturday, 08 November 2025.

In taking the choice to placed on maintain the RAL management elections, the PUL stresses that every one related sides within the elections had been consulted, together with Mr. Willie Tokpa, president of the RAL; Mr. Frank Martin, Chairman of RAL Impartial Elections Committee; and the provisionally certified candidates for president, Mr. Webster Clayeh and Mr. Barclay Karnley; and Mr. Blamo Toe, who represented themselves and their respective groups.
The PUL believes within the face of mounting challenges resulting in the RAL elections, it’s prudent and essential to handle and resolve all grievances to keep away from a doubtlessly chaotic election, which could result in a disaster of legitimacy of any electoral end result.
The PUL will work with the RAL management, the Congress and Elections Committees, and the provisionally certified candidates to handle the core challenges and alternatives surrounding the RAL elections.
