    Medina A. Wesseh heads UMU

    The Board of Administrators of the United Methodist College (UMU), via its Chairman, Bishop Samuel J. Quire, Jr., on Friday, November 28, 2025, named Cllr. Medina A. Wesseh as head of the Interim Administration Workforce of the College.

    Cllr. Wesseh, a board member herself, was unanimously endorsed by her fellow board members to guide the UMU Administration Workforce from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

     She is anticipated to work with the college’s vice presidents and different senior employees members. Her management begins on December 1, 2025.

    Bishop Quire additionally named Rev. Dr. Anthony G. Dioh, Vice President for Tutorial Affairs, Rev. Dr. George Ok. Weagba, Vice President for Administration, the Comptroller, Julius D. Innis, and the Chancellor for the Liberia Annual Convention of the United Methodist Church, Cllr. Samuel T. Zonoe, as a member of the workforce. “Please make sure the viability of the United Methodist College within the tutorial group,” Quire advised Wesseh and her workforce.

    Cllr. Wesseh comes into this management function following the demise of the UMU President, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel F. Bailey, on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, whereas on official obligation on the college. Dr. Bailey took over the college for the third time as its president on March 1, 2025.

    Cllr.  Wesseh is a extremely revered Liberian lawyer, diplomat, and public servant.
