    Liberian News: LNP Releases Traffic Enforcement Report

    Monrovia-The Ticketing Unit of the Liberia Nationwide Police (LNP) has launched its newest report on visitors enforcement efforts for Might 2025.

    The report revealed that its Ticketing Unit issued a complete of 4,900 visitors violation tickets throughout Might 2025.

    In accordance with the newest enforcement report, motorists paid 2,455 of those fines, contributing L$5,067,200 and US$33,562 to authorities income. Police authorities emphasised the significance of visitors compliance, stating that every one drivers should adhere to laws and settle fines promptly to keep up safer roads.

    This enforcement push follows regarding highway security statistics launched final 12 months. In September 2024, Liberia recorded 157 visitors accidents that resulted in 23 deaths and 144 accidents. The deadly crashes claimed the lives of 20 males and three ladies, together with 8 drivers, 7 passengers, and eight pedestrians. Accident experiences confirmed 133 male and 11 feminine damage victims, with 80 being drivers, 52 passengers, and 12 pedestrians. The collisions concerned 249 autos, 45 of which sustained extreme harm.
