    Monrovia — Former Finance Minister Samuel D. Tweah has launched a scathing Christmas message in opposition to the Unity Celebration (UP)-led authorities, accusing it of failing to ship the “golden age” promised to Liberians following the 2023 electoral defeat of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).

    In a strongly worded assertion, Tweah argued that Liberians have been “hoodwinked” into believing the CDC was destroying the nation and needed to be eliminated to “rescue Liberia,” insisting that occasions over the previous two years have as a substitute revealed deep governance failures underneath the present administration.

    As proof, Tweah pointed to wage delays on the College of Liberia (UL), citing feedback by UL teacher Eric Patten, who reportedly stated that for the second consecutive December because the UP assumed energy, college workers have gone unpaid through the Christmas interval.
