    Liberia: Police Probe Two Men for Impersonating FPA’s Managing Editor Rodney Sieh

    Monrovia – The Liberia Nationwide Police has launched an investigation into two males accused of impersonating FrontPageAfrica’s Managing Editor, Rodney Sieh, in a scheme to extort cash from authorities officers, outstanding residents, and companies.

    The suspects, recognized as Morris Tamba and Sembeh Borhay allegedly acquired telephone numbers from Lonestar Cell MTN and posed as Sieh whereas soliciting money.

    Condemning the act, Mr. Sieh described it as “unlucky” and known as on the police to behave swiftly in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

    “It’s unlucky that younger and agile males are stooping so low to have interaction in prison actions by soliciting cash beneath false pretense pretending to be Rodney Sieh,” Sieh mentioned. “They should discover a job or go to highschool. It is extremely simple to hint these telephone numbers as now we have been doing on quite a few events. Others have been arrested and so will these two.”

    Lonestar Cell MTN confirmed that it has blocked the 2 numbers in query, noting that the matter is now beneath investigation.

    Not the First Case

    In 2014, an imposter, Prince Sieh (no relation to Rodney), was arrested after months on the run. He had been demanding cash from authorities officers, claiming he might suppress unfavorable information tales about them.
