Koijee, has launched a scathing assault on the ruling Unity Occasion (UP), accusing it of ascending to energy via “a harmful sample of propaganda, falsehoods, and politically motivated assaults.”

In an article titled “The Untold Fact: How Unity Occasion Climbed to Energy on Falsehoods and Propaganda,” Koijee recounted incidents he claimed have been orchestrated to tarnish his picture and weaken opposition to now-President Joseph Boakai.
He pointed to the January 5, 2025, discovery of a container loaded with firearms on the Freeport of Monrovia as one instance. In accordance with him, with none proof or investigation, UP partisans and surrogates linked him to the scandal in a bid to discredit him.

Calling for neutral justice and a rejection of “trial by propaganda,” Koijee urged Liberians to carry leaders accountable and resist what he described as a rising tradition of smear campaigns.
“Our future can’t be constructed on propaganda,” he stated. “We should reject the toxic tradition of smear campaigns and reclaim Liberia’s path of justice, fact, and integrity.”
Koijee’s remarks come at a time of heightened political stress, because the Boakai administration continues to face scrutiny over governance, appointments, and human rights considerations. The Unity Occasion has but to formally reply to his allegations.
