Monrovia – The Monrovia Metropolis Courtroom has denied a movement filed by state prosecutors to nullify the felony look bond posted by former Home Speaker Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa and several other co-defendants in reference to the Capitol Constructing arson case.

In a ruling delivered on Thursday, Decide Ben Barco declared that the bond meets the authorized necessities outlined underneath Chapter 13 of Liberia’s Felony Process Regulation. “The courtroom finds that the bond is legally ample,” Decide Barco mentioned. “The movement to quash the bond is hereby denied.”
The ruling permits Koffa and his co-defendants to stay free pending trial.
