    CDC Youth League Chairman Emmanuel Johnson Presenting Endorsement Assertion to STAND Chairman Mulbah Morlu

    Monrovia – The Revolutionary Nationwide Youth League of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) on Thursday formally endorsed the July 17, 2025, peaceable protest organized by the civil society group Solidarity Belief for a New Day (STAND).

    He continued: “We’re standing for the hungry who sleep with out meals, for daughters that suffer in silence, for graduates who roam with out jobs, and for households whose cries echo unanswered. We name on each patriotic Liberian—youth, pupil, girl, employee, mom, and father—to rise in unity and with function. July 17 is a nationwide declaration that the folks will not be silenced.”

    Johnson added that Liberian youth will not whisper dissent in worry or kneel earlier than oppressive energy, however will rise with braveness and function to confront what he described because the “misrule” of the Unity Occasion-led authorities.

    He sharply criticized the present administration underneath President Joseph Boakai, saying Liberia has descended into what he termed “an abysmal state” in lower than two years.
