Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. on Friday met with leaders of the “Say No to Medicine” Marketing campaign on the Government Mansion, receiving a petition that requires pressing and decisive motion to fight drug abuse throughout Liberia.
The petition urged stronger enforcement of drug legal guidelines, expanded rehabilitation and counseling companies, nationwide consciousness packages, and deeper neighborhood engagement to guard younger folks from substance abuse.
In the course of the assembly, marketing campaign member Anthony Nimely shared his 14-year battle with drug habit earlier than turning his life round. Now a logo of hope, Nimely serves because the “Face of the Victims,” advocating for prevention and restoration efforts nationwide.
