    Liberia: Agriculture Ministry Donates 200 Bags of Rice to the National Food Assistance Agency to Support Vulnerable Liberians

    The Ministry of Agriculture (MoA), below the ready management of Dr. J. Alexander Nuetah, has donated 200 baggage of 25kg regionally grown rice to the Nationwide Meals Help Company (NFAA) to help susceptible people and communities in Liberia.

    Making the presentation on behalf of the Minister Nuetah, Deputy Minister for Administration, Antoinette F. Dukuly, described the gesture as each a humanitarian response and a logo of nationwide unity.

    Firm officers indicated that neighborhood engagement would stay a precedence as they proceed operations in the area.

    “It’s our personal means of claiming Merry Christmas this festive season; additionally it is about caring for individuals who are most in want,” Deputy Minister Dukuly stated. “On the similar time, it highlights the significance of supporting native farmers by prioritizing nutritious, regionally grown rice.”

     Receiving the donation, NFAA Director Normal, Boakai Sirleaf, thanked the Ministry of Agriculture for the well timed intervention, noting that the rice will immediately help the Company’s ongoing meals help applications.

    “We deeply admire this significant contribution from the Ministry of Agriculture,” Mr. Sirleaf stated. “It’ll strengthen our capability to succeed in susceptible Liberians, together with these in prisons, hospitals, and the disabled, which displays sturdy collaboration amongst authorities establishments.”

    He additional emphasised that sourcing regionally produced, nutritious rice not solely helps meals help efforts but in addition empowers Liberian farmers and sustains the nationwide meals system.

    The Nationwide Meals Help Company will distribute the rice in accordance with its mandate to offer meals help and social safety to susceptible individuals nationwide.

    The donation aligns with the Authorities of Liberia’s broader agenda to cut back starvation, strengthen meals safety, and promote coordinated motion throughout public establishments.
