    Monrovia – Carlos Tingban, former Chairman of the Scholar Unification Get together (SUP) who was not too long ago dismissed as Assistant Minister for Mines on the Ministry of Mines and Power by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has publicly reaffirmed his unwavering help for the President and his administration.

    Delivering the keynote deal with over the weekend at SUP’s fifty fifth Anniversary celebration, Tingban praised the federal government’s efficiency regardless of what he described as “mountain challenges” simply 23 months into its tenure.

    “In simply 23 months of governance, within the midst of mountain challenges the place all the pieces appears to be a precedence, we’ve seen real efforts to combat corruption, restore damaged establishments, and rekindle hope,” Tingban stated.
    The occasion was held beneath the theme: “Golden Solidarity: A Legacy of Collective Resolve, Ideological Power, and Self-discipline.”

    Inserting his protection of the Boakai administration throughout the historic context of SUP’s revolutionary legacy, Tingban underscored the motion’s decades-long battle towards oppression. He recounted his personal experiences of “confrontation and resilience,” together with suspension, intimidation, and surviving what he known as a “state-sponsored murderous motor vehicular assault” that claimed the lives of Gwendaline Debah Wilson and Hon. Adolph Lawrence.

    “As an inseparable half and former chairman of this nice legacy, we stand amongst an extended chain of leaders who’ve resisted oppression in all kinds. Via all these intervals of diabolical political machinations with sinister motives, SUP remained unmoved, unbought, and unbreakable,” he asserted.

    Tingban stated the sacrifices of SUP militants helped pave the best way for contemporary democratic governance in Liberia. He credited the Boakai-Koung administration with demonstrating “responsiveness, humility, ethical readability, and an observable connection to the heartbeat of the folks,” itemizing achievements reminiscent of ongoing public-sector reforms, investments in training and healthcare, safety sector stabilization, renewed efforts at nationwide reconciliation, and a rebranding of Liberia’s international picture.

    Highlighting his position as Secretary-Normal of the UP-Alliance—a coalition of 21 political events—Tingban described the partnership as “a uncommon milestone in Liberia’s political historical past” pushed by shared values. He urged SUP to help the alliance and align with its agenda for progressive governance.

    The previous official additionally known as on SUP veterans and progressive youth to tackle better nationwide management tasks, stressing that 2029 will demand their full participation.

    “The time has come for the progressive youth and SUP veterans to cease occupying the margins of society. It’s time to run for elected workplaces, affect coverage, lead establishments, and defend the plenty with readability and braveness,” he emphasised.

    Tingban argued that President Boakai’s early successes stem from integrating “ideological SUP veteran cadres” into governance, demonstrating the President’s perception within the motion’s transformative energy.

    He concluded by underscoring the significance of Democratic Centralism and social gathering self-discipline inside SUP, whereas honoring exiled comrades Martin Okay. N. Kollie and Christopher Walter Sisilu Sivili, whom he described as “guiding torches for the battle.”
