Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., and Home Oversight Rating Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., made the request in a letter Friday to representatives of Epstein’s property. Whereas the request doesn’t carry the load of a congressional subpoena, it comes amid continued controversy over the Trump administration’s dealing with of recordsdata associated to investigations of Epstein.

“Latest public reporting signifies that the Property of Jeffrey Epstein is in possession of a doc generally known as ‘the birthday guide,’ compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003 in celebration of Mr. Epstein’s fiftieth birthday, which has clear relevance to this case,” the letter to Epstein’s representatives acknowledged.
