-Gov’t Says Determination Aligns With Its Worldwide Popularity

    By Jamesetta D Williams

The Authorities of Liberia has confirmed that Mr. Garcia, a international nationwide, has been acquired into the nation on humanitarian grounds and isn’t a convicted legal, opposite to widespread social media rumors.

Talking on the Ministry of Data, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) common press briefing, Appearing Minister Johnny Tarkpah clarified that U.S. authorities had sought a 3rd nation to obtain Mr. Garcia for humanitarian causes, and Liberia agreed to offer him short-term protected haven in step with its long-standing humanitarian traditions.

“So far as the Authorities of Liberia is conscious, Mr. Garcia has not been convicted in any courtroom in the USA,” Tarkpah acknowledged. “Liberia has a protracted historical past of providing refuge to people underneath humanitarian circumstances per our democratic values and compassion for humanity.”

He emphasised that Liberia’s resolution aligns with its worldwide popularity as one in all Africa’s oldest democracies, identified for selling peace, humanitarianism, and regional solidarity.

Tarkpah reaffirmed the federal government’s dedication to upholding the rules of compassion and human rights, noting that Liberia’s humanitarian response displays the nation’s ethical and diplomatic accountability inside the worldwide group.
