    FBI Engages LNP in High-Level Security Discussions

    Monrovia, Liberia, January 23, 2026 — A delegation from america Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has held high-level discussions with the Liberian Nationwide Police (LNP) as a part of ongoing efforts to strengthen cooperation between U.S. and Liberian legislation enforcement companies.

    The FBI delegation visited Monrovia on Thursday, January 22, 2026, and met with senior LNP officers on the police headquarters. The engagement centered on enhancing bilateral collaboration, strengthening justice-sector partnerships, and bettering joint approaches to felony investigations and safety challenges.

    The three-member FBI workforce, headed by Christen Schill, held a closed-door assembly with the Inspector Basic of Police, throughout which each side exchanged views on urgent nationwide and regional safety considerations.

    Discussions centered on strengthening cooperation within the combat in opposition to transnational organized crime, tackling monetary and cyber-related offenses, and boosting legislation enforcement capability by coaching and technical help.
