    DRUGS: Gov’t Declares War On Drugs

    MONROVIA-The Authorities of Liberia has declared the combat towards drug abuse a nationwide emergency, calling on all residents to affix efforts in combating what it describes as a rising pandemic that threatens households, communities, and the nation’s future.

    Talking on the Ministry of Info, Cultural Affairs and Tourism (MICAT) press briefing on Tuesday, the Deputy Minister of Info introduced that the federal government is getting ready for a nationwide Anti-Drug Motion Day on August 7, supposed to rally each establishments and people round a standard entrance within the battle towards medication.

    “Medicine don’t discriminate. Each group, each household, each social class has been affected,” the Deputy Minister emphasised. “This combat should transfer past coverage and into collective, sensible motion.”
