    A strike by air traffic controllers is disrupting travel to, from and over France

    PARIS — About 40% of flights had been canceled Friday in any respect Paris airports and tens of hundreds of passengers had been rearranging plans on the top of the summer time journey season due to a strike by French air traffic controllers searching for higher working circumstances.

The nationwide civil aviation authority requested airways to cancel 40% of flights Friday at Charles de Gaulle, Orly and Beauvais airports serving Paris, half of flights in Good and 30% of flights in Marseille, Lyon and another cities.
