    Monrovia- Liberia has been reaffirmed for eligibility for a second Millennium Problem Company (MCC) Compact, marking a significant milestone within the nation’s pursuit of sustainable improvement and good governance.

    The announcement comes as a direct reflection of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr.’s unwavering dedication to fiscal self-discipline, transparency, and a transformative improvement agenda that has sought to strengthen Liberia’s financial and social infrastructure.

    In a social media submit, Finance and Growth Planning Minister Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan expressed satisfaction within the authorities’s achievement. “It has been an extended and bumpy journey, however we by no means misplaced religion. We labored arduous, and we now have delivered for the president and the folks of Liberia,” Minister Ngafuan stated.

    Liberia’s first MCC Compact, signed underneath former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, was a five-year, $257 million settlement that mixed infrastructure investments with coverage and institutional reforms
