    Lawmakers: House Approves Landmark Aviation

    MONROVIA-The Home of Representatives on Thursday, July 15, ratified a sweeping set of worldwide aviation conventions and protocols, marking a significant step towards modernizing Liberia’s airspace and aligning the nation with international aviation requirements.

    The ratified agreements, now despatched to the Senate for concurrence, are meant to spice up compliance with the Worldwide Civil Aviation Group (ICAO), improve regulatory oversight, and open the door to vital international funding in Liberia’s aviation infrastructure.

    The protocols have been submitted by the Government Department and reviewed by the Home’s Joint Committee on Transport, Judiciary, and International Affairs.
