    Liberia: Former Ganta City Mayor Amos Suah Joins Ruling Unity Party

    Ganta, Nimba County – Former Ganta Metropolis Mayor Amos N.G. Suah has joined the ruling Unity Occasion.

    Suah, who beforehand served beneath the opposition Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) through the George Weah presidency, stated his determination was influenced by what he described as the federal government’s clear dedication to nationwide improvement and up to date judicial appointments.

    Throughout his time as mayor of Ganta, Suah oversaw a number of infrastructure and public service tasks. He was later changed by Samuel Saye Hardt following the transition of energy after the 2023 elections.

    Although out of public workplace, Suah has remained a visual determine in Nimba County’s political and civic circles. His latest declaration for the Unity Occasion is predicted to strengthen the celebration’s foothold within the county — a key battleground in nationwide politics.

    Suah’s change is being interpreted by political analysts as a strategic endorsement of the Boakai-Koung administration’s early initiatives. His defection might additionally affect different former officers or CDC supporters to rethink their political alignment.
