A manhunt is underway in a capturing that injured a police officer in Santa Monica, California, authorities stated.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon close to Santa Monica Place, an out of doors shopping center, police stated.

“The suspect stays at massive, and a coordinated search is underway,” the Santa Monica Police Division stated in a press release.
Police urged the general public to keep away from the world as a result of emergency response.

A Santa Monica police officer was injured within the incident and transported to an space hospital for medical care, the police division stated.
