    Liberia: Women’s Legislative Caucus Condemns Brutal Killing of Ciannah Goe In Marshall, Demands Swift Justice

    MONROVIA – The Ladies’s Legislative Caucus of Liberia has condemned the alleged rape and brutal homicide of Ciannah Goe, a Liberian lady who not too long ago returned residence from Canada.

    In response to reviews, the incident occurred at Goe’s newly constructed residence in Marshall, Margibi County.

    In a press release issued by the Chairperson of the Ladies’s Legislative Caucus, Consultant Ellen Attoh-Wreh of Margibi County Electoral District 3, the group expressed deep sorrow over the killing and prolonged condolences to the bereaved household.

    “It’s significantly tragic that the sufferer, a Liberian citizen who had not too long ago returned residence from Canada, met such an premature and violent finish,” the Caucus said.

The Caucus emphasised that justice should be served not just for the sake of the sufferer’s household but additionally to show Liberia’s dedication to defending girls and women.
