    The Chairman of the opposition Congress for Democratic Change (CDC), Janga Kowo, mentioned he sees no motive for being forcefully detained by police, insisting that their meeting was peaceable.

    Kowo had led a bunch of CDC partisans to the Monrovia Central Jail, the place former Speaker J. Fonati Koffa and three different CDC lawmakers have been jailed by the Monrovia Metropolis Courtroom following accusations of masterminding the December 2024 “arson assault” on the Capitol Constructing.
