The LP’s Political Chief, Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence stated the Liberty Occasion expressed gratitude to its founding father, the late Cllr. Charles Walker Brumskine, whose imaginative and prescient and management laid the inspiration for the Occasion’s enduring presence in Liberia’s political panorama.
“The sacrifices, resilience, and unwavering dedication of our forebears have instilled a compassionate political philosophy in us—one which champions equal alternatives for all Liberians,” the Occasion acknowledged in a launch signed by Secretary Basic Martin Saye Kollah.
Since its formation, the Occasion has performed a key function in shaping Liberia’s multiparty democracy, advocating for transparency, anti-corruption measures, and insurance policies designed to enhance the lives of on a regular basis residents.
The management emphasised its ongoing dedication to fostering a democratic tradition grounded within the safety of rights and nationwide unity.
As a part of its anniversary celebration, the Occasion has introduced a calendar of commemorative occasions to honor its journey and imaginative and prescient for a reformed and inclusive Liberia.
