    Legislative Caucus frowns at Western Cluster Liberia’s operations

    Bong Mines, Liberia, Might 30, 2025 – The Plenary of the Liberian Senate has obtained a proper communication from Senator J. Alex Tyler, Senator of Bomi County and Chairman of the Western Area Legislative Caucus, elevating critical issues in regards to the operations of Western Cluster Liberia Restricted (WCL). 

    Western Cluster Liberia Restricted (WCL) is a mining firm that operates in western Liberia.

    In his communication, Senator Tyler complains of gross violation of the Mineral Improvement Settlement (MDA) signed between the Authorities of Liberia and Western Cluster.

    The movement was unanimously accepted by plenary, thereby mandating the joint committee to start its investigative work immediately.
