    ‘Good Progress’ in U.S.-Iran Talks, Iranian Official Says

    Oblique talks between American and Iranian officers in Geneva on Tuesday ended with the 2 sides agreeing to “a set of guiding ideas,” based on the Iranian overseas minister.

    “So I’ll be concerned in these talks not directly. They usually’ll be crucial. We’ll see what can occur. It’s been sometimes — Iran’s a really powerful negotiator. “We’ve been instructed {that a} deal is subsequent to inconceivable.” “No, no. I believe they wish to make a deal. I don’t suppose they need the implications of not making a deal. They wish to make a deal.”
