    LiSA Unveils Five-Year Strategic Plan to Improve Quality of Goods and Services in Liberia

    Monrovia, February 17, 2026: The Liberia Requirements Authority (LiSA) has unveiled a complete five-year enterprise sustainability plan to raise the standard of products and providers nationwide.

    The plan, overlaying the years 2025 to 2029, was launched on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, throughout a high-level roundtable assembly with private and non-private sector stakeholders at LiSA’s new facility in Monrovia.

    This launch is a part of a weeklong collection of actions culminating within the official commissioning of the authority by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., scheduled for Thursday, February 19, 2026.

    On the Ministry of Info’s weekly press briefing, Hon. Koakun Emmanuel Myers, Deputy Director Common for Technical Companies, introduced that the assembly centered on modernizing Liberia’s high quality infrastructure to make sure the nation’s competitiveness within the world market.

    Myers outlined a collection of occasions main as much as the launch, together with the deployment of 26 workers members to Ghana for specialised coaching, with extra workers anticipated to comply with as LiSA expands its operational capability.

    The strategic plan goals to revamp requirements growth, assess the security of domestically traded commodities, strengthen conformity evaluation and market surveillance, and develop client safety initiatives.

    In accordance with Myers, aligning with worldwide greatest practices is crucial for reinforcing the standard of domestically produced items and securing entry to regional and world markets.

    He confirmed that the official commissioning ceremony will happen on Thursday morning, presided over by President Boakai.
