    Liberia: Ailing Ex-Traditional Chief Zanzar Karwor Decries Neglect by Government, Others

    Morlu, a former Chairman of the opposition Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC), alleged that the previous conventional chief has been deserted by each the federal government and his friends.

    “We’re right here right this moment with Chief Zanzan Karwor, who has been very sick.     On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Grand Bassa County District #2 Consultant Clarence Banks visited the ailing former chief following experiences that he had complained of abandonment.

    Banks defeated Chief Karwor’s spouse, Madam Mary Karwor—who served 12 years as Consultant—within the 2023 Presidential and Legislative Elections.
