    LDEA intensifies war on drugs in Bong

    GBARNGA, Bong County – The Bong County Detachment of the Liberia Medicine Enforcement Company (LDEA) has reported the arrest of seven suspected drug traffickers, with narcotics valued at over US$12,000 and LD$2.4 million seized throughout coordinated operations throughout the county.

    Based on Commander Thomas Saye, the operations had been strategically executed by LDEA officers in a number of communities, concentrating on main trafficking factors and distribution networks. The seized substances embody marijuana, tramadol, and heroin, all reportedly supposed on the market and consumption in native cities and surrounding villages.

    Commander Saye described the arrests as a significant victory within the company’s ongoing marketing campaign to curb the inflow of harmful medicine into Bong County.
