    R&B legend D’Angelo dies at 51

    Grammy-winning R&B artist D’Angelo has died, his household mentioned Tuesday. He was 51.

    The singer-songwriter and musician, who was born Michael Eugene Archer, was identified for his songs “Brown Sugar,” “Girl,” “Untitled (How Does It Really feel)” and extra.

    “The shining star of our household has dimmed his mild for us on this life… After a protracted and brave battle with most cancers, we’re heartbroken to announce that Michael D’Angelo Archer, identified to his followers world wide as D’Angelo, has been known as house, departing this life immediately, October 14th, 2025,” his household mentioned in a press release shared with ABC Information.
