Monrovia, Liberia; October 10, 2025 – The Liberia Regulation Group has petitioned the Ministry of Inside Affairs to instantly examine Bomi County Administrative Officer, Mr. Alphonso M. Sherman, for allegedly exercising unlawful authority over tools and equipment price greater than US$2 2million, located in Sakie City, Bomi County.
The petitioner, of their communication to the Minister dated October 9, 2025, signed by Legal professional Moiwulo Blama, claimed that Mr. Sherman has issued a letter notifying scrap sellers about his intention to promote earth-moving tools that belongs to his shopper.
“Our shopper additional intimidated to us that to ensure that Mr. Sherman to implement his unlawful gross sales or intent, he, Mr. Sherman, has already began to chop our shopper’s tools and or machineries into scraps”, the communication reads.
The regulation agency additional claimed that, regardless of Mr. Sherman’s data, their shopper had instituted a prison motion in opposition to Reginald Holder and Jehu Richards for a similar tools and/or equipment, and the Grand Jury subsequently indicted them for the 11th Judiciary in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
Accordingly, the petition acknowledged that, following a prolonged trial, the case was transferred to the First Judicial Circuit, Felony Assize “C” Montserrado County, Republic of Liberia. After a protracted trial, the case was concluded, and a Remaining Judgment was rendered in favor of their Shopper.
Premised on this letter, and the rationale acknowledged above, “we most respectfully request that you simply instantly intervene by placing cease to the unlawful act carried out by the County Administrative Officer in individual of Mr Alphonso M. Sherman, and or cite each our Shopper and the stated County Administrative Officer, to a convention to additional probe or examine the allegations, levied in opposition to Mr. Sherman, by our Shopper to keep away from potential battle which may ensue on account of the continuing unlawful actions.
