A big-scale response is underway in Sacramento after a REACH Air Medical Companies helicopter crashed onto Freeway 50, shutting down eastbound visitors Monday night time.

A number of crew members had been taken to space hospitals, in line with an announcement from REACH Air Medical Companies.

No affected person was on board, the corporate stated.

The helicopter appeared to have simply lifted off from UC Davis Medical Middle when it crashed, in line with flight-tracking knowledge.

California Freeway Patrol stated will probably be working with the Nationwide Transportation Security Board and Federal Aviation Administration to analyze and determine when the wreckage may be moved off the freeway.

“We’re within the means of figuring out the small print of this case, in addition to the situation of the REACH crew concerned,” the corporate stated.

It is a growing story. Please examine again for updates.
