Monrovia – Seventeen younger Liberian professionals have returned house after efficiently finishing the Mandela Washington Fellowship, a flagship U.S. Authorities program designed to construct management {and professional} capability amongst rising African leaders.

The six-week fellowship, hosted at main universities throughout the USA, offered individuals with superior coaching in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Civic Management, and Public Administration. Fellows engaged in educational coursework, mentorship, and networking alternatives with U.S. professionals throughout varied sectors.
In response to the U.S. Embassy in Monrovia, this system equips individuals with sensible instruments to strengthen governance, enhance public companies, increase enterprise initiatives, and drive group improvement efforts of their house nations.
Since its launch in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship has introduced practically 6,500 younger leaders from throughout Africa to the USA. The initiative continues to foster innovation, construct networks, and help the subsequent technology of changemakers on the continent.
Chargé d’Affaires Joseph Zadrozny congratulated the returning Liberian fellows and emphasised the importance of this system at a time when U.S.-Africa relations are more and more targeted on commerce, funding, and sustainable improvement.

The Mandela Washington Fellowship is a part of the Younger African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which helps youth engagement and management throughout the continent. This system continues to function a platform for cross-cultural collaboration and shared world development.
