Monrovia-The Liberia Nationwide Police (LNP), by way of the Workplace of the Deputy Inspector Normal of Police for Operations, has reaffirmed that it maintained peace and guarded all events concerned throughout Saturday, August 23, court-ordered evictions.

In an announcement posted on his official Fb web page, ClIr. J. Nelson Freeman, Deputy Police Director for Operations, stated the Liberia Nationwide Police outlined the position performed by cops throughout a current court-sanctioned eviction train.
“We offered and maintained public order to stop violence, riots, or disturbances between the evicting occasion and the occupants,” Freeman wrote.
“Our officers ensured the protection and safety of lives and property, together with these of the owner, tenants, neighbours, and courtroom officers.”
He famous that the LNP’s involvement was in full compliance with the regulation, and the eviction was carried out below the authority of a legitimate courtroom order.
“We enforced the regulation by guaranteeing that the eviction was carried out strictly according to a legitimate courtroom order or authorized mandate, thereby stopping any unlawful or pressured eviction,” he added.
Freeman used the platform to spotlight the LNP’s broader mission and operational principlesemphasisingng transparency, professionalism, and group collaboration.
“Our mission is to strengthen public belief, guarantee regulation and order, and supply well timed, correct data on police operations,” the publish continued.
