    Holiday Tech Camp Launched at University of Liberia to Inspire Future Innovators

    Louisiana — A transformative, month-long Vacation Tech Camp has formally kicked off on the picturesque Lake View web site on the College of Liberia’s Fendall Campus. The camp, which runs from July 16 to August 16, 2025, is hosted on the College Innovation Pod (UniPod) and welcomes youngsters aged 7 to 17 from major, elementary, and secondary faculties throughout Liberia.

    Collectively organized by UNDP Liberia and the College of Liberia, the initiative marks a historic milestone because the first-ever know-how camp of its sort in Liberia, providing younger minds immersive publicity to rising applied sciences.

    Inspiring Younger Dreamers

    Throughout a go to to the camp, UNDP Resident Consultant Mr. Aliou Dia counseled the kids for embracing this chance, urging them to dream massive and stay targeted—no matter how unattainable their objectives could seem.

    The campers greeted the UNDP delegation and College officers with radiant smiles and pleasure, proudly sharing updates on their progress.     Championing Educational Development and Innovation

    Dr. Agnes Reeves Taylor, Vice President for Educational Affairs on the College, thanked UNDP for the chance to collaborate.     The camp hosts 60 college students—36 ladies and 24 boys—and is facilitated by Nervtek, a tech firm led by CEO Nzometiah Nervis. He shared that this system originated in Cameroon in 2020 with simply 9 college students and now trains round 90 yearly.
