    4 killed in latest US strike on alleged drug boat in Eastern Pacific: Hegseth

    4 individuals have been killed within the newest U.S. navy airstrike on an alleged drug boat within the Jap Pacific on Wednesday, Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth introduced in a social media publish.

    It follows strikes towards 4 alleged drug vessels within the Jap Pacific on Monday that killed 14 individuals, in accordance with Hegseth.

    Total, this marks the 14th such strike carried out by the U.S. for the reason that assaults started on Sept. 2, concentrating on alleged drug boats within the Pacific and Caribbean and killing greater than 60 individuals whole.

    The U.S. has carried out one other strike towards an alleged drug vessel within the Jap Pacific, Protection Secretary Pete Hegseth introduced Oct. 29, 2025, killing 4 individuals.

    In asserting the newest strike on Wednesday, Hegseth mentioned that, on the route of President Donald Trump, the Protection Division “carried out a deadly kinetic strike on yet one more narco-trafficking vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Group within the Jap Pacific.”

    “This vessel, like all of the others, was identified by our intelligence to be concerned in illicit narcotics smuggling, was transiting alongside a identified narco-trafficking route, and carrying narcotics,” he continued.

    4 males alleged to be “narco-terrorists” on board the vessel have been killed, in accordance with Hegseth, who posted a video of the strike that was labeled “unclassified.”

    Hegseth didn’t say the place the boat had originated.
