    2,148 Volunteer Teachers Placed On Payroll

    …As Liberia Advances Volunteer Instructor Payroll Regularization

    The Ministry of Training has taken concrete steps to enhance the employment standing of Volunteer Academics (VTs) throughout the nation by way of the Civil Service Company payroll course of.

    In collaboration with the Civil Service Company and the Ministry of Finance and Growth Planning, the Ministry of Training has accomplished the verification and payroll placement of two,148 certified volunteer academics throughout the nation.

    Payroll integration has been carried out in structured batches to make sure fiscal and administrative integrity: Batch One: 448 academics have been positioned on payroll in October 2025, batch two, 405 academics have been positioned on payroll in November 2025, batch 3: 1,295 academics have been positioned on the November 2025 supplementary payroll and are scheduled to transition to the common payroll in December 2025.

    This course of prioritizes certified and actively engaged classroom academics, reinforcing accountability whereas strengthening workforce stability throughout public colleges.

    This milestone displays a deliberate step towards bettering trainer welfare, decreasing reliance on unpaid service, and strengthening studying continuity for Liberia’s college students.

    The Ministry of Training stays dedicated to clear, merit-based workforce reforms that help each educators and learners nationwide.
